Judy Moy has been a Consultant on Emerging Media Development and Production for Travelzoo since 2008. She reports directly to the CEO/Founder of international media company with offices in 12 countries. Advises client on video monetization opportunities, business development strategies, creation of a corporate style guide and general media guidelines. Also responsible for overseeing TV studio operations, production of video content and working closely with marketing team on Travelzoo media appearances, promotional tactics and strategy.
Moy was a freelance Senior Video Producer and Director for CondeNet for nearly two years. As the Senior Producer/Director, she created hundreds of videos for CondeNet's lifestyle websites, Epicurious.com and Concierge.com in addition to other video platforms. Some videos have generated over 350,000 views on YouTube alone. In 2008, she was nominated for a NY Emmy for an Epicurious video.
Moy was the Producer/Director of 4 short documentaries shot in the People’s Republic of China. She had been commissioned in 2004, to live and work in China and create 4 shorts on western chefs who were opening restaurants in Shanghai. The chefs are Jean Georges Vongerichten, David Laris, Jereme Leung and Brad Turley.
Moy was the Executive in Charge of Production for the start up of the Jon Stewart Show for Paramount Domestic TV. In her role, she was responsible for contract negotiations, supervision of the set construction, team assembly, acting as liaison between Paramount and the show, managing a budget of $14 million and a staff of 50.
Moy was the producer of the award-winning, highly acclaimed independent feature film, Combination Platter. Janet Maslin of the New York Times called it “refreshingly candid” and “provides honest, often humorous glimpses of restaurant life”.
